Logan's Story

I came out as trans in my last year of high school. For the most part it was easy. I told one teacher who then informed the rest of the staff. As for the students, I told my close friends, but for everyone else it was passed on from others. I didn't really experience any major transphobia at high school. When I went to college that's when I first experienced someone who bullied me because I was born a girl. This person was really bad to the point I didn't want to go to school if it meant I had to see them. Luckily I had my best friend by my side to stop them from going too far with the “jokes”. Four years since I've come out I'm happily married to the woman I love because she looks past my past and sees me for who I really am.
